Sundays are a great day for learning, worship, and community. But the Sunday experience is just a part of the bigger picture: being a Christian doesn’t mean you live life differently on Sundays, it is a 24/7 life, intertwined with everyone you know and meet. It’s not easy or quick by any means – it is a process, the process of Spiritual Formation. In his book, Invitation to a Journey, M. Robert Mulholland describes Spiritual Formation as “the process of being conformed to the image of Christ for the sake of others.” God has a plan and purpose for each of us as we grow. Which is why the group studies at Crosswalk have a purpose: to equip. They are designed to equip you for life with knowledge, faith, and connections with others.
We offer three types of equipping groups for you to choose from:
- Foundations is the path we suggest to get started – finding out more about Crosswalk and the Christian life.
- Short Groups are intense studies through which you get equipped in the subject which speaks to you most.
- Life Groups are ongoing studies, with a focus on getting connected and building community within the group.
We hope you take a minute to follow the links below to see a more detailed description and a listing of the upcoming groups. If you want to sign up for one, you can e-mail Pastor Mark and he will get you going.
