Favorite accomplishment/project since joining staff?
Being able to help facilitate the needs of Crosswalk’s elderly and participate in their requests
One thing people don’t realize about the staff that they need to know?
Some people don’t realize the time and prayers that are spent by staff on making decisions that benefit the Crosswalk Congregation through the eyes of Jesus Christ.
What is your ministry goal?
Helping people understand that the entire Body of our Church can be in the Ministry of assisting those that are insecure, sick, lonely, and lost.
Tell us a story of what you’ve seen God do through your ministry:
Five years ago in May, I had an emergency quadruple bypass heart surgery. It was a life changing experience in challenging my trust in God. Today God uses that experience and my testimony to share with other heart patients, at El Camino Hospital as a volunteer Chaplain.
Beach or mountains?
Both…I love to drive to a special place in the Santa Cruz Mountains and look at the great view of the Pacific Ocean.
PC or Mac? PC out of necessity
Creative or administrative? I would like to say creative, but I can’t. I am definitely an administrative soul.
Favorite place for a date?
With my wife Melinda at AT&T Park in a lower box seat, enjoying the Giants, a Bratwurst and a diet Coke! And yes, her company of course!
Favorite movie? This one goes way back…Alan Ladd in the movie “Shane.”
Favorite book (besides the Bible)? I have never found a book better to read than the Bible…
What musician are you enjoying most right now? Kari Jobe singing “You Steady My Heart.”
What books do you generally suggest to people for reading?
Impossible to answer in short detail! I refer alot of books dependent on the needs of the individual.
What experience stands out to you as the most significantly Spiritual Moment you have had?
The lifting up several years ago, of the love I have for my wife and how much God consistantly blesses us.
We each have been blessed with a purpose in this life, has yours been revealed to you yet? If so, what is it?
To start each day with God, follow His footprints wherever they may lead, trusting in Him and doing my best to serve Him as only He sees fit.
What one thing do you want everyone to know about you?
That I struggle with sharing the truth and “tough love” to others who need to hear it.
