Foundation Classes

Welcome Class with Pastor John (childcare available)

Thursday, February 2nd ~ Box dinner, Class from 6:30 – 8:30pm

This basic introduction to our church family is designed to clearly explain who and what our church is all about. Learn about our Vision and Core Values, the structure of the church and discover the meaning of membership.

You must pre-register to attend this class.

Bible Study Groups

Life on the Edge with Michael Lowe and Shelly Foutz-Lowe

Sundays in the Gymnasium Youth Room, 9:00am (Children’s Program available)

Come join us Sunday mornings for a verse by verse study of Numbers and Deuteronomy.

1 & 2 Peter with Brenda Trimble (Children’s Program available)

Sundays in Room 10, 10:30am

This class is for Women and is currently studying 1 & 2 Peter.

Acts: Christ’s Church in the World with Peggy Salter

Sundays in the Church Parlor, 10:30am (Children’s Program available)

This group is very interactive, multi-generational, with the intent to learn from each other. All are welcome to study God’s Word in this Max Lucado study.

Psalm 119 with Ray Spear

Tuesdays, in the Church Parlor, 6:30 – 7:30am

This group is for men, and designed for those wanting a place of study and fellowship early in the morning before the rest of the day’s activities. Our new study takes us into Psalm 119 using the inductive study from “Better than Chocolate.”

All Ages Bible Study with Jeff and Vanessa Scudder

Tuesdays, in the Gymnasium Youth Room, 7:00pm (Childcare)

Focus of this group is growing in God, loving and serving those around us, and working on practical ways to live a God centered life. This group is currently made up of both singles and couples with small children, but we are open to people of all ages and stages in life! Childcare is provided, but children are always welcome to stay with their parents if they would prefer. We are looking forward to going through some fun and interesting studies that focus on basic principles of Christian living.

Anointed, Transformed, Redeemed: A Study of David (Priscilla Shirer ~ Beth Moore ~ Kay Arthur) with Sue Spear and Pastor Linda (Childcare)

Tuesdays, Jan 17 – March 6 in Church Parlor, 6:30 – 8:30pm

This 8 week study is for women with childcare available. Materials for this class are $15, but assistance is available if needed. Three women, representing three generations, explore their lives and the life of David in this DVD series. Homework is part of the commitment, but the reward is great! Set aside some time to go deeper into the Word.

Doing the Right Thing with Pastor John Christie (Children’s Program)

Wednesdays, Jan 18 – March 7 in Parlor, 6:30 – 7:45pm

Doing the Right Thing explores the ethical and moral breakdown that is hitting our culture from all sides. DVD sessions encourage viewers to examine themselves and how ethical and character issues relate to their lives at home, school, and the workplace. Panelists and guests include Chuck Colson, Robert George, Joni Eareckson Tada, Ben Stein, Brit Hume, and many others.

God as He Longs for You to See Him with Dave Stokes (Children’s Program)

Wednesdays, Jan 18 – March 21 in Room 10, 6:30 – 8:00pm

This DVD series by Chip Ingram looks at seven attributes of God.

God is often described as all-knowing, all-loving, and all-powerful. But are there other traits that we overlook? What is God really like? Can we truly put his eternal attributes into words? And how does the way we describe God affect our relationship

with him?

Lifecare Group

8 Week Health Challenge with Sharon Welty (Children’s Program available)

Wednesdays, Jan 18 – March 7 in Room 15 (Gym), 6:30 – 7:45pm

This group comes together to encourage and motivate each other to live a healthier lifestyle. Individual goals, weekly weigh-ins, guest speakers, and group activity will be the focus for this group. Begin the New Year in a safe place of accountability, making better health choices!

Stained Glass with Barry LaFrance

Mondays in the Gymnasium, 7:00 – 8:30pm

Tap into your creative side and learn how to make stained glass! This class is open to beginners through advanced.

Entrepreneurs Support Group (ESG) with Kris Olson

Tuesdays in the Youth Room, 11:00am – 12:30pm

The Entrepreneurs Success Group (ESG) is for individuals interested in starting a business or for small business owners eager to move their businesses forward in a powerful way. Our mission is to foster a supportive and encouraging entrepreneurial environment for individuals desiring a collaborative arena to kick their businesses into high-gear, while bringing glory to God. The emphasis is on forward “thinking” and “doing” for our businesses optimum success. Strategic planning, goal-setting, brain-storming best practices, and accountability are key components.

Indoor Soccer with Joaquin Inocencio

Thursdays in the Gymnasium, 6:00pm

This Indoor Soccer group is an outreach and provides an opportunity to build relationships with people in the community.

Chess with Pastor Mike Jones

First Friday of each month in the Gymnasium, 6:00pm

Instruction for all levels of chess players.
