“Tru Kids” begins at Crosswalk September 4th!
We are delighted to have your child attend our Sunday morning Children’s programs. The fact that you bring your children to church is a testimony that you want your family to put God first, at the beginning of your week. We are partners with you on your child’s spiritual journey.
Tru is a dynamic, spiritually forming, and family-empowered ministry philosophy that offers a vibrant weekend curriculum, as well as other family resources. Tru is uniquely created to inspire, equip, and support parents and church leaders in their ministry to children. Tru provides families with materials to help them connect as a family and grow together spiritually.
Tru is about “THE BIG GOD STORY”. We define the Big God Story as God’s entire story. It incorporates all of history, stretching from Genesis to Revelation and beyond. Other Christian instruction has told fragmented stories of God, Jesus and other people in the Bible, as if they were part of a narrative. Tru communicates each Bible story with the context of The Big God Story, so the Bible becomes much more than just a collection of short stories. Each lesson is centered on God and how He works in our lives.
Tru helps kids understand that God has woven His redemptive plan throughout time and we want kids to understand that they not only play a part in this incredible story, but are also part of a much larger faith community of past, present, and future believers. Tru allows kids to Anticipate, Celebrate, Respond and be Blessed in an interactive environment.
