Our Children’s Ministry Philosophy:

Children’s ministry at Crosswalk is dedicated to loving children and their families and growing their faith by teaching them in fresh ways the timeless message of God’s grace through Jesus.

The children are taught that their God-given purpose is to be a LIGHT:

Love God in all you do. (Worship)
Involve yourself in God’s family. (Fellowship)
Grow to be like Jesus. (Discipleship)
Help in the church. (Ministry)
Tell others about Jesus. (Evangelism)

Children’s Ministry at Crosswalk also exists to equip parents to help their children grow in the knowledge and love of Jesus and to become Spiritual Champions for Jesus.

Please follow our procedures for signing your children in and out of the nursery and preschool. All school age children start in the Worship Center with their parents. A Registration Form will need to be filled out for each new attending child by the Parent.

Nursery

Birth through 2 Years

Description: A complete nursery is open and available during both Sunday Services for newborns through 24 months.

Where to Go:

Room #1: Birth – 24 months

Room #2: 2 year olds

Preschool

3 years – pre-kindergarten

Description: Toddlers and preschoolers enjoy a variety of age appropriate activities designed to develop their positive feelings about going to church and learning about God, His son Jesus and the Bible.

Where to Go:

Room #3 : 3 years – pre-kindergarten

Traditional Sunday Class

Kindergarten – 5^th grade

Description: We offer “Children’s Church” during both services. They will experience Bible study, music, art, recreation, service projects and missions education designed for their age group.

Where to Go:

Children join their parents during the first part of Sunday Service for a time of musical worship. After worship, they head to Children’s Church in the fellowship hall.
